Terms of use
The terms on which this service is made available.
Stand:
Scope
This is a translation for convenience. In case of doubt, the German version of this page prevails.
These terms of use govern the use of the website lepost.de and all its subpages.
Use is free of charge. There is no claim to availability; the service may be changed, restricted or discontinued at any time.
Content and how it comes about
Articles are produced in an editorial process in which artificial intelligence tools are used for research and for drafting. Before publication, every article undergoes a quality and source review and is released by a human. Fully automatic publication does not take place.
Substantial factual claims are supported by verifiable sources named with the article. Where a statement is disputed or uncertain, this is made clear.
No advice
The content serves general information purposes. It does not replace individual advice and is in particular not legal, tax, investment or medical advice.
Information about financial products is not a recommendation to buy or sell. Information on health topics does not replace medical assessment. Decisions you take on the basis of this content are your own responsibility.
Accuracy and timeliness
We strive for accurate and current information but cannot guarantee it. Content may be out of date after publication.
If an error becomes known, it is corrected and the correction is shown with the article — articles are not changed silently. Notices of errors are expressly welcome.
Use of the content
You may read, save and print the content for private purposes and link to individual articles.
Any further use — in particular reproducing, distributing, making publicly available or adapting whole articles, including substantial extracts — requires our prior written consent.
To the extent permitted by law, the automated collection, analysis or use of the content for training or improving AI systems without our prior written consent is prohibited in particular. We expressly reserve the rights under § 44b (3) of the German Copyright Act.
The use of individual images may additionally be subject to the licence terms of the respective rights holder. The applicable licence and the required attribution are shown with the image.
Quoting
Quoting individual passages, stating the source and linking to the original article, is permitted to the extent allowed by law.
We welcome it. A quotation does not, however, replace consent for taking over whole articles.
Automated retrieval
The automated reading, mirroring or systematic collection of large parts of this website without our prior written consent is not permitted, to the extent allowed by law.
This does not affect retrieval by search engines to the usual extent. What is permitted there is stated in the robots.txt file.
References to third-party sites
The service contains references to third-party websites. Their operators alone are responsible for their content. A link does not imply agreement with the linked content.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for damage arising from injury to life, body or health.
In cases of simple negligence we are liable only for breach of an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper use possible in the first place and on whose observance you may rely, and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of agreement. Liability is otherwise excluded to the extent permitted by law. Claims under the German Product Liability Act remain unaffected.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be changed. The version published at the time you access the website applies; the date is shown at the top of the page.
Applicable law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.
